HubSpot pricing in 2026: editions, seats, credits and what it costs

From what we see with clients, new HubSpot portals in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, South Africa included, have bought HubSpot a new way since 1 October 2026. You choose one edition (Starter, Professional or Enterprise), pay per seat (GTM or Ops), and get a monthly allowance of HubSpot Credits that emails, workflow actions and AI agents draw from.

What does HubSpot cost? For new portals in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, a GTM seat costs €20, €100 or €175 a month on Starter, Professional or Enterprise. In US dollars that's $20, $100 or $175, and in pounds £18, £90 or £155. A Professional GTM seat is €100 / $100 / £90 a month on monthly billing (still a yearly commitment), or €90 / $90 / £81 a month if you pay annually. Each edition includes 5,000, 10,000 or 15,000 HubSpot Credits a month. Emails HubSpot sends, most workflow actions and AI agent work use credits. Buying in the US or Australia? You're on HubSpot's hub-based pricing for now, so these prices don't apply to you.

Existing customers, and buyers in the US and Australia, stay on the older hub-based pricing for now.

What changed on 1 October 2026

On 1 October 2026, HubSpot changed how new portals in Europe, the Middle East and Africa buy HubSpot, in our experience with clients. Instead of buying hubs separately, you buy one edition for the whole account, pay per GTM or Ops seat, and get a monthly allowance of HubSpot Credits. Existing customers stay on their current pricing for now.

Who it applies to: in our experience, new portals in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, South Africa included, from 1 October 2026. Existing customers keep their current pricing for now, but HubSpot's terms let it move older subscriptions to current products, so check before you renew. Buyers in the US and Australia stay on hub-based pricing for now.

What didn't change: the Smart CRM at the core, the Starter, Professional and Enterprise editions, and onboarding on Professional and Enterprise.

HubSpot hasn't published a date for moving existing customers. Its Customer Terms of Service say that if you have older products, HubSpot "may choose to move you to our then-current products at any time". So it's worth knowing your numbers before your next renewal.

Not on HubSpot yet? What you'll pay to start

For a new portal in Europe, the Middle East or Africa, your first HubSpot bill has three parts: HubSpot's licence, onboarding and the work to move your data across from Salesforce, Pipedrive, another CRM or spreadsheets. Buying in the US or Australia? You're on HubSpot's hub-based pricing for now, so this section doesn't cover your pricing or onboarding.

  • HubSpot's licence. One edition, a seat for each person and a monthly allowance of credits, at HubSpot's own prices. A Professional GTM seat is €100 / $100 / £90 a month on monthly billing, or €90 / $90 / £81 a month if you pay annually. Muloo doesn't resell HubSpot licences or add a markup.
  • Onboarding. Required on Professional and Enterprise. When Muloo onboards you, you pay Muloo for onboarding, not a separate HubSpot onboarding fee.
  • Moving your data. Migration from your current CRM, and integrations with the tools you keep, are partner work on top. We scope both on a 45-minute call before you buy.

How the bill works

The three things you pay for now

On the new model you pay for three things: one edition, seats for your people and a monthly allowance of credits.

  1. Edition

    One

One edition for the whole account

You pick Starter, Professional or Enterprise, and that edition applies to everyone. You can't mix editions, so Sales Professional with Marketing Starter isn't an option on this model. Starter suits small teams getting the basics in place. Professional adds full workflows, reporting and the Ops seat. Enterprise adds the controls bigger and more complex businesses need.

  2. Seats

    From €20

    Seats: GTM and Ops

A GTM seat gives a person full access to HubSpot's marketing, sales and service tools, plus Breeze Assistant and the Smart CRM. Every account needs at least one GTM seat. An Ops seat gives access to selected automation, reporting and governance tools, for people who support customer-facing teams. Ops seats are only available on Professional and Enterprise. Starter allows up to 10 paid seats.

  3. Credits

    5,000+

    Credits: the monthly allowance

Each edition includes HubSpot Credits every month: 5,000 on Starter, 10,000 on Professional and 15,000 on Enterprise. Credits reset monthly and don't roll over, and that includes any extra credits you buy.

Marketing contacts are no longer billed separately. Contacts count inside your record capacity.

Seen €60 "Core" and €120 "Front Office" seats elsewhere? Those come from HubSpot's earlier pilot of this pricing in the Nordics, not the GTM and Ops seats new EMEA portals buy from 1 October 2026. HubSpot's knowledge base notes that accounts bought on seats-and-credits pricing before 1 October 2026 may have Core and Front Office seats.

The plain-English version

  • Every email HubSpot sends uses credits, including marketing, automated and transactional emails. One-to-one emails from a connected inbox don't.
  • Workflow actions use credits, except branches, delays and go-to actions. Starter's simple automation uses credits too.
  • An email sent by a workflow is charged twice, once for the send and once for the workflow action.
  • On Professional and Enterprise, sends and actions covered by an Email Sends or Workflow Actions capacity pack don't use credits until the pack runs out.

What 10,000 credits buys at the first-tier rates: about 666 emails, or about 3,333 workflow actions, or 200 customer agent conversations, or 10 pieces from the content agent. The cost per email and per action falls as your monthly volume grows.

Work out your credits in the calculator

When you run out: extra credits, capacity packs and spend limits

What happens at the limit (from HubSpot's knowledge base)

  • If you only have your included credits, features that use credits pause when they run out. They start again on your reset date or when you buy more.
  • Once you've bought extra credits, use above your limit is billed at the pay-as-you-go rate. HubSpot sets an account spending limit of up to 50% above your total monthly credits.
  • There are no automatic upgrades. Your limit goes back to normal the following month.
  • You can set limits for the whole account, for each feature and, for buyer intent, for each action. Admins get alerts at 75%, 85% and 90%.

Worked examples

What HubSpot costs: two worked examples

Illustrative, list prices in euros, before VAT, for new EMEA portals. Onboarding is covered separately below.

Example A

Professional

  • 5 GTM seats
  • 1 Ops seat
  • 8,000 marketing emails a month
  • 5,000 workflow actions a month

Seats€550

Total a month, seats included

  • Pay-as-you-go €1,800
  • Email Sends pack, Medium Lowest total €1,600
  • Growth Marketing Pack €1,850

At this volume, the email pack is the cheapest option shown, and email volume drives the bill more than seats do. If some of those emails are sent by workflows, each one also counts as a workflow action. In US dollars, Example A's totals are the same numbers.

Onboarding: required on Professional and Enterprise. When Muloo onboards you, you pay Muloo for onboarding, not a separate HubSpot onboarding fee.

Show the working
Seats
5 × €100 + 1 × €50 = €550
Pay-as-you-go
Emails 8,000 × 15 = 120,000 credits. Workflows 5,000 × 3 = 15,000 credits. 135,000 minus 10,000 included = 125,000 credits at €0.01 = €1,250
Email Sends pack, Medium
Pack €1,000 covers the emails. Workflows 15,000 minus 10,000 included = 5,000 credits at €0.01 = €50
Growth Marketing Pack
Pack €1,300 covers 10,000 sends, 500,000 actions and 40,000 credits

Example B

Starter

  • 3 GTM seats
  • 1,500 marketing emails a month

Seats€60

Total a month, seats included

  • Pay-as-you-go €235
  • Base Marketing Pack Lowest total €210

On Starter, the Base Marketing Pack beats pay-as-you-go at this volume. Starter can't buy the Email Sends or Workflow Actions packs, but it can buy marketing packs and agents packs.

Show the working
Seats
3 × €20 = €60
Pay-as-you-go
Emails 1,500 × 15 = 22,500 credits, minus 5,000 included = 17,500 credits at €0.01 = €175
Base Marketing Pack
Pack €150 covers 2,500 sends, 250 workflow actions and 2,500 credits

A note on pay-as-you-go: HubSpot only bills usage above your limit once you've bought extra credits. Without them, features pause at the limit. So a pay-as-you-go setup starts with at least one €10 credit pack. The totals above already include it, because that pack's 1,000 credits get used.

These examples use monthly billing. On annual billing, a Professional GTM seat is €90 / $90 / £81 a month.

Onboarding: what's required and who you pay

For new portals on HubSpot's new pricing: onboarding is required on Professional and Enterprise. When Muloo onboards you, you pay Muloo for onboarding, not a separate HubSpot onboarding fee.

Muloo is responsible for your onboarding from day one. The engineer who builds your HubSpot runs it, so the person setting up your workflows, data and reporting is the person you talk to. We document what we build and hand it over. No lock-in.

Partner work beyond onboarding, such as integrations, migration or custom builds, comes on top.

Is it cheaper or more expensive than before?

It depends on how much email and automation your portal runs. Mixed teams can pay less, because each person needs one seat rather than one per hub. Heavy senders and automation-heavy portals pay for activity they didn't see on the bill before.

Comparing HubSpot with another CRM? The same rule applies. Seats are only part of the bill, so count your monthly emails and workflow actions before you compare. See HubSpot vs Salesforce: which CRM fits your revenue team.

To check, export the last three months of HubSpot-sent emails and workflow actions, then run them through our calculator.

Portal structure matters as much as the price list. EPI-USE ran six HubSpot portals at about $90k a year. We modelled a one-portal setup at about $49k a year, a modelled saving of about 45 percent.

If your portal needs cleaning up before you size it, see HubSpot portal rescue. Moving to HubSpot from another CRM? See CRM migration to HubSpot.

Already a HubSpot customer? What to do now

Existing customers keep their current pricing for now, but HubSpot's terms let it move older subscriptions to current products, so check before you renew. Use the time to get ready.

  1. Know your renewal date.
  2. Count your monthly HubSpot-sent emails and workflow actions.
  3. Clean out unused seats and workflows nobody owns.
  4. Check how many records you hold against how many marketing contacts you pay for.
  5. Don't assume you'll be moved at renewal. Wait for HubSpot's notice, and read it closely.

Pricing by region and currency

South Africa. In our experience, South Africa is on the new pricing for new portals, and South African customers are usually billed in US dollars, not rands. A Professional GTM seat is $100 a month on monthly billing, or $90 a month if you pay annually. Your rand cost moves with the exchange rate, so budget for that. We haven't seen rand prices for this model.

South African buyers: see why you're billed in US dollars and how to budget in rand.

Europe. Prices are in euros, for example €100 a month for a Professional GTM seat on monthly billing, or €90 a month if you pay annually.

United Kingdom. Prices are in pounds, for example £90 a month for a Professional GTM seat on monthly billing, or £81 a month if you pay annually. It's £44 for an Ops seat and £9 for each extra 1,000 credits.

VAT and tax. HubSpot adds VAT or other tax at checkout, based on your company address. The prices on this page are before tax.

How we size credits for clients

We size credits in four steps, starting with what the portal is for.

  1. Start with the use case: marketing, sales, service or a mix.
  2. Count the contacts and records you'll hold.
  3. Cover the big, predictable volumes (emails and workflow actions) with packs.
  4. Add AI agent credits on top, with a spending limit.

It's our own method, built from the HubSpot builds we've done. If you'd like us to run it on your portal, book a 45-minute call.

FAQ

What changed in HubSpot pricing in October 2026?

From what we see with clients, new HubSpot portals in Europe, the Middle East and Africa buy one edition for the whole account from 1 October 2026, pay per GTM or Ops seat, and get monthly HubSpot Credits that emails, workflow actions and AI agents use. Existing customers keep their current pricing for now, but HubSpot's terms let it move older subscriptions to current products, so check before you renew.

Does the new HubSpot pricing apply to existing customers?

Not yet. Existing customers keep their current pricing, and HubSpot hasn't published a date for moving them. Its terms allow it to move older subscriptions to current products later, so it's worth checking your usage before your next renewal.

Does the new HubSpot pricing apply in the US, UK, Australia and South Africa?

In our experience it applies to new portals in Europe, the Middle East and Africa from 1 October 2026, so the UK and South Africa are in scope. Buyers in the US and Australia stay on hub-based pricing for now.

What happened to buying HubSpot hub by hub?

On the new model you don't buy hubs separately. You choose one edition for the whole account, and each person's seat sets what they can use.

Can I mix HubSpot editions, like Sales Professional with Marketing Starter?

No. On the new model each account has one edition, and seats set what each person can do.

What's the difference between a GTM seat and an Ops seat?

A GTM seat gives full access to HubSpot's marketing, sales and service tools. An Ops seat gives access to selected automation, reporting and governance tools, for people who support customer-facing teams. Every account needs at least one GTM seat.

How many HubSpot credits do I get?

Starter includes 5,000 credits a month, Professional 10,000 and Enterprise 15,000. They reset monthly, and unused credits don't roll over, including any extra credits you've bought.

Do emails and workflows use HubSpot credits now?

On the new model, yes. Every email HubSpot sends uses credits, including marketing, automated and transactional emails, and so do workflow actions, except branches, delays and go-to actions. An email sent by a workflow is charged twice, once for the send and once for the action. On Professional and Enterprise, sends and actions covered by a capacity pack don't use credits until the pack runs out. One-to-one emails from a connected inbox don't use credits.

How many credits does a marketing email use?

15 credits per email for the first 10,000 sends in a month, then fewer per email as volume grows: 5, then 2, then 0.5.

How many credits do 5,000 marketing emails use?

About 75,000 credits a month at the first-tier rate of 15 credits per email. Professional includes 10,000 credits, so the rest comes from extra credits or an Email Sends pack.

What happens if I run out of credits?

If you only have your included credits, features that use credits pause until your next reset date or until you buy more. Once you've bought extra credits, use above your limit is billed at €0.01 or $0.01 a credit, up to a spending limit HubSpot sets at up to 50% above your monthly credits. There are no automatic upgrades, and admins get alerts at 75%, 85% and 90%.

Is pay-as-you-go or a capacity pack cheaper?

It depends on your volume. In our Professional example with 8,000 marketing emails a month, the 10,000-send Email Sends pack came to €1,600 a month against €1,800 on pay-as-you-go. On Starter at 1,500 emails a month, the Base Marketing Pack came to €210 against €235.

What replaced marketing contacts?

Record capacity. Starter includes 25,000 records, Professional 250,000 and Enterprise 15,000,000, and contacts count inside that.

Is HubSpot more expensive now?

It depends on your volume. Teams that send a lot of HubSpot email or run heavy automation can pay more for that activity. Mixed teams can pay less because each person needs one seat rather than one per hub. Run your own numbers in our calculator.

Is HubSpot onboarding required?

For new portals on the new pricing, yes. Onboarding is required on Professional and Enterprise. When Muloo onboards you, you pay Muloo for onboarding, not a separate HubSpot onboarding fee.

Who do I pay for HubSpot onboarding if Muloo does it?

You pay Muloo. When Muloo onboards you, you pay Muloo for onboarding, not a separate HubSpot onboarding fee. The engineer who builds your HubSpot runs it.

Does buying HubSpot through a partner cost more?

Not with Muloo. The prices are HubSpot's own, and Muloo doesn't resell HubSpot licences or add a markup.

What currency do South African HubSpot customers pay in?

Usually US dollars, in our experience. South Africa is on the new seats-and-credits pricing for new portals, and the rand cost moves with the exchange rate. A Professional GTM seat is $100 a month on monthly billing (still a yearly commitment), or $90 a month if you pay annually. Source: HubSpot pricing, prices checked 8 Oct 2026. The new model applies to new EMEA portals.

Is HubSpot free?

Partly. On HubSpot's new pricing for new EMEA portals, there's one free edition with up to two users, 300 email sends a month and up to 3,000 records, and other limits may apply. The paid editions, Starter, Professional and Enterprise, include the free tools plus paid seats, monthly HubSpot Credits and higher record limits. Buying in the US or Australia? You're on hub-based pricing for now, and this answer doesn't cover its free tools. Source: HubSpot's seats-and-credits catalogue supplement, checked 8 Oct 2026. The new model applies to new EMEA portals.

How much does HubSpot cost per user?

On the new pricing for new EMEA portals, a GTM seat is €20 / $20 / £18 a month on Starter and €175 / $175 / £155 on Enterprise. A Professional GTM seat is €100 / $100 / £90 a month on monthly billing (still a yearly commitment), or €90 / $90 / £81 a month if you pay annually. An Ops seat is €50 / $50 / £44 on Professional and Enterprise. Extra credits, add-ons and onboarding can add to the bill. Buying in the US or Australia? You're on hub-based pricing for now, so these prices don't apply to you. Source: HubSpot pricing, prices checked 8 Oct 2026. The new model applies to new EMEA portals.

Do I need HubSpot Professional, or is Starter enough?

Starter suits small teams getting the basics in place, with up to 10 paid seats. Professional adds full workflows, reporting and the Ops seat. Enterprise adds the controls bigger and more complex businesses need. On the new model you choose one edition for the whole account.

What does it cost to move to HubSpot from Salesforce, Pipedrive or spreadsheets?

For a new EMEA portal, you pay HubSpot for your edition, seats and any extra credits, at HubSpot's own prices. Onboarding is required on Professional and Enterprise. When Muloo onboards you, you pay Muloo for onboarding, not a separate HubSpot onboarding fee. Migration and integrations are partner work on top, and we scope them on a 45-minute call.
