The HubSpot core
Moving off Salesforce, Pipedrive or a decade of spreadsheets.
Data, history, process and integrations moved into HubSpot without losing the associations that make reporting possible, and without the sales team losing a week.
A named specialist replies within one working day. No sales sequence.
How does a CRM migration to HubSpot work?
Source data is mapped to a HubSpot data model designed first, then moved in staged loads with associations, owners and history intact. Integrations are rebuilt, the two systems run in parallel through a cutover window, and the legacy system is retired once reporting reconciles.
What you get
What you get.
-
01
A mapped data model
Every source field placed, merged or deliberately dropped, agreed before anything moves.
-
02
History and associations intact
Contacts to companies to deals, owners, close dates and activity, so historic reporting still works.
-
03
A cutover plan
Parallel running, a reconciliation check and a dated switch-off, rather than a hopeful weekend.
Scope and shape
Scope and shape.
Every engagement is scoped properly before it starts. This is the shape of a typical one.
- Typical duration
- Six to twelve weeks Data quality drives this far more than record count
- What moves
- Records, associations, owners, activity, files Notes and emails move where the source system exposes them
- What rarely moves cleanly
- Custom objects and bespoke automation Usually rebuilt rather than migrated, and that is the cheaper answer
- Parallel running
- Two to four weeks Non-negotiable if you have a live sales team

How it runs
Map. Trial load. Cut over. Retire.
-
01
Map
Source to target, field by field, with the merge and dedupe rules agreed.
-
02
Trial load
A full load into a sandbox, reconciled against the source before anyone sees it.
-
03
Cut over
Production load, integrations switched, parallel running with a daily check.
-
04
Retire
Reporting reconciles, the old system goes read-only, then off.

What sits either side of this.
These are not silos. Whichever one you arrive for, the next one is already waiting.
Before you ask
The questions we get on this one.
Will we lose our reporting history?
No, provided the source exposes it. Close dates, owners and stage history come across, which is what historic reporting actually depends on.
Can you migrate from spreadsheets?
Yes, and it is often harder than migrating from a CRM, because the rules live in people’s heads. The mapping workshop is where those get written down.
What about duplicates?
Dedupe rules are agreed before the trial load and applied on the way in. Migrating duplicates and cleaning afterwards is how portals end up needing a rescue.
